Evaluations

Little HOOT provides comprehensive Testing to provide families and teachers with information about the child's strengths and weaknesses. Knowing the areas of strength allows us to use those abilities to build any areas in need of improvement. We use observations, questionnaires, work samples, and standardized tests.

Methods

  • Kids need to move. Movement is a big part of treating the whole child. Swinging, jumping, climbing, and other movement, when used therapeutically, can help to make big changes in the child's abilities in other areas such as sensory integration and fine-motor skills.
  • ‚ÄčKids learn best through play. Play is the primary occupation of childhood. We will be using tools, equipment and toys fromt he child's natural environment to work on building skills in a fun and productive way.
